Switch above and you are at the ANTICIP8 panel, at the very same spot.

What you hear are real recordings from the song, one per character, each with its own grid. That is why the GRID row here only shows what the recording used instead of being switchable. In the plugin you choose it freely.

Try it: change the character and press LISTEN.
Hover over a control and wait a moment, just like in the plugin, everything explains itself.

Drag & Drop

Drag it out. Drop it in. Done.

No bouncing, no reversing, no maths. You drag the finished waveform straight out of the plugin into your project and put the end of the run-up at the start of your word. Try it:

Drag the glowing run-up into the track, in front of the word.
Example “Insomnia” · hear the difference:
Four characters, one click:
The old way

Four steps. And back to the start at the slightest doubt.

You hear it in almost every modern track. By hand it is fiddly work:

01Cut out the syllable
02Reverse it
03Render delay onto it, repeat it x times
04Reverse it back
… and if you change your mind, more repeats, a different grid, you start again at 01.

One knob and one grid.

REPLIC8 does these four steps for you, and re-renders instantly as you turn. More repeats, a different grid, a different character: you hear it the same moment instead of rebuilding it. No feedback knob, no nudging down to the sample.

FAQ

Answered briefly.

Do I need any experience? +
No. One knob, one grid, four buttons, and each explains itself when you hover over it.
Why isn't the effect simply on my vocal track? +
Because the run-up has to happen before the word. A plugin cannot hear into the future. That is why you get a finished clip and place it yourself.
How do I place the clip correctly? +
The end of the clip belongs at the start of the word. That is where the repeats dock.
What are DOT and TRIP for? +
Modifiers for the grid width, just like in your DAW: DOT makes the note value one and a half times as long, TRIP two thirds. Both apply to all four characters.
Does this replace my send delay? +
No. REPLIC8 creates a clip that you place, and does exactly that one thing. Your delay on the track stays where it is.
Does it work for singing too, not just rap? +
Yes. Anything that is a voice works. Adlibs and single sounds too.
